Snaefellsnes peninsula is what we call “Iceland in a nutshell”, because it presents to you everything that our nature has to offer. It is still waiting to be discovered and not so far from Reykjavik:

  • Eldborg – Old Crater
  • Arnarstapi
  • The ancient fishing village at Hellnar
  • A Lava Cave (guided tour takes about one hour)
  • Snaefellsjokull – Glacier
  • Djupalonssandur / Dritvik – Black Sandy Beach
  • Stakkavik – Golden Beach
  • Kirkjufell Mountain
